Unlike reactive calendar or task tools, Deana proactively anticipates needs, resolves scheduling conflicts, and takes action - with user permission - through empathetic, context-rich voice and text interaction.

Challenge
Deana.AI was born from a simple but challenging question: can artificial intelligence truly support human well-being?
In today’s world of notifications, meetings, and family commitments, people don’t need another productivity app, they need a partner that understands context. With stress and burnout on the rise, especially among caregivers and professionals, Deana.AI introduces an entirely new category: an emotionally intelligent, anticipatory concierge that executes tasks across domains.
For example, if a user types “Lunch with Emma at 5,” Deana confirms the location, adds it to the right calendar, and sends reminders. Over time, it learns the rhythm of your life, and keeps it in balance.
Solution
How We Built It – Behind the Architecture
From the beginning, Deana was never meant to be "just another AI assistant." We knew it needed to think, adapt, and respond like a human partner, not just follow commands.
The Intersog team started with a low-code automation engine to rapidly build the prototype. Using n8n, we built simple flows that could take a voice command like "Book a haircut for Friday at 2" and translate it into real action: scheduling, confirmation, and a reminder without a single app switch.
We also knew trust would make or break the experience. So we added an explainable decision system. Every suggestion Deana makes - like moving a meeting because of your child’s school event - comes with a transparent reason and always asks permission first.

Product Architecture & R&D
Our team collaborated with the founder to define the product scope and technical roadmap. We identified the key use cases - calendar syncing, reminder setup, scheduling suggestions - and architected a system that could support natural language inputs and multi-channel outputs (email, chat, voice).
Microservices Design
We developed a service-oriented architecture to keep the system modular and scalable. Each workflow (e.g. calendar sync, voice input parsing) was designed as a standalone service to support future AI model updates and cloud scaling.
AI Pipeline Integration
The MVP included intent detection and prompt parsing powered by OpenAI’s GPT. We tuned it with real-world scheduling and task inputs to ensure relevant and accurate responses across different tones and formats.
Secure Cloud Infrastructure
The MVP runs on AWS, with Google Cloud-based authorization already implemented to support calendar integrations and user data security. The architecture is built for scale - ready to onboard more users without slowing performance.
Multiplatform Interfaces
From early on, Deana was designed for flexibility. We created the foundation for email and web-based inputs first, with a roadmap for future integration with Alexa, Siri, and mobile apps.
MVP Testing & Early Feedback
With the core features live - voice input, calendar event creation, email integration - we began internal testing and collecting feedback from early users to refine the UX and identify next steps.
